Culture means customs; religions, music, dance, etc. make culture. Our science and our languages, our handicrbuildings, our foods and festivals and our ways of thinking all make up our culture. .....................
People wear different types of clothes in different parts of the country. People living in towns and cities of India wear modern garments and people living in villages wear traditional clothes. Men wear dhoti, shirts, trousers, kurta-pyjama, etc. in the south, men wear lungi. The people in Kashmir wear Salwar kameez and phirans. In Rajasthan, men wear pagri.Women also wear different types of dresses. They wear Sarees, skirts, trousers, shirts and salwars. In many place like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat the people wear Ghaghra andcholi........The sari is worn in different ways in different states. The Gujarat, Bengali and Maharastra styles of tying the sari are different from each other....
